April 25, 2007 - Former RiverHawk Mayke Cabrera has signed with the Grays of the independent Can-Am League. The Grays, a travelling team, play their full 96-game schedule on the road.
Cabrera was the RiverHawks' opening-day first baseman in 2006. He was released in late June, after he hit .275, but didn't homer and drove in two runs in 18 games. Cabrera finished the season with the Sussex Skyhawks of the CAL. He hit .264 with no homers and six RBI in 34 games. |
